About the role

  • Design, develop, and implement backend logic for a custom CPQ solution using Apex
  • Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards
  • Develop and maintain complex triggers, batch jobs, future methods, and queueable Apex classes
  • Optimize SOQL and SOSL queries for performance and scalability
  • Work on Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, external services, and middleware
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects and Administrators to design technical solutions that align with business requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and data inconsistencies
  • Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices to ensure optimal solution design

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development
  • Deep expertise in Apex programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, governor limits, and security model
  • Experience with SOQL, SOSL, and database optimization
  • Knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC) and front-end development (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and version control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) Certification is mandatory
  • Additional Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II (PD2) or CPQ Specialist are a plus.
