About the role

  • You are responsible for keeping company-wide applications such as Microsoft 365 up to date and ensuring their stable, secure operation.
  • You are responsible for the deployment, configuration and administration of the applications and for managing the relevant external service providers.
  • You advise colleagues across all departments on new features and workflows, as well as on scaling and extending applications.
  • You participate in IT projects and in the optimization of existing processes.
  • Continuous documentation in the ticketing and knowledge base systems (Jira / Confluence) is also part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d), alternatively a university degree with an IT focus or a comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as an IT system administrator (m/f/d) for on-premise infrastructure in a medium-sized company or in an IT service provider/system house
  • Solid knowledge in the installation, configuration and administration of servers and applications in Microsoft Windows environments
  • Good knowledge in administering Microsoft 365 and its associated apps
  • Knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN)
  • Knowledge of Linux and Apple environments is desirable
  • Agile mindset
  • Good German and English language skills
  • Reliable team player with a high degree of quality awareness, pragmatism and the ability to work independently
