About the role

  • You take on P&L (EBIT) and revenue responsibility for the Marketplace area and lead the team both functionally and disciplinarily
  • You are responsible for building and expanding the marketplace business nationally and internationally for our brands OPUS, OPUS PANTS and someday, taking into account all relevant success, growth and profitability factors
  • You manage all operational and strategic tasks of the marketplace team with the aim of continuously improving the performance of our marketplaces
  • You actively drive the continuous optimization of processes, marketing strategies and partnerships
  • Based on ongoing reporting and monitoring, you position the area strategically and develop it sustainably

Requirements

  • Degree in E‑Commerce or comparable qualification
  • Several years of solid experience in Marketplace/E‑Commerce, ideally in the fashion/lifestyle segment
  • Knowledge of campaign management and managing marketplace performance (e.g., Zalando, Otto, Amazon, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • High affinity for data-driven decision-making, enjoyment of working with digital tools and very good Excel skills
  • Openness and passion for continuously identifying new potentials in your area of responsibility and proactively implementing them with strong execution
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on mentality, ability to work independently and a collaborative approach
