• Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships across founder, VC, ECVC, and operator communities in our core markets
• Act as an ambassador for SimpleClosure, someone partners want to work with and bring into their networks
• Own SimpleClosure’s end-to-end events strategy - from concept to budget to execution to follow-up
• Lead high-impact industry moments (Tech Week events, conferences, ecosystem activations) where we show up with clarity and confidence
• Curate intimate, high-signal dinners and gatherings that create real connection and drive pipeline
• Personally execute events on the ground - this is a hands-on role, not a pass-off role
• Ensure every event delivers an exceptional brand experience that reflects SimpleClosure’s values and quality bar
• Build strong, reciprocal relationships with potential partners across our ecosystem
• Lead the charge in co-hosted and co-sponsored events that partners are excited to participate in
• Pitch and design creative, differentiated event concepts that drive shared outcomes (brand, pipeline, trust)

Community & Events Manager

Account Manager

• Develop and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers across key technology platforms, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners.
• Represent SimpleClosure as a trusted, high-value partner that helps others better serve founders.
• Lead commercial negotiations to create win-win partnerships that incentivize adoption and drive mutual success.
• Ensure SimpleClosure is seamlessly embedded into partner workflows and customer experiences.
• Work hand-in-hand with Product, GTM, and Operations to scope, prioritize, and execute integrations that create measurable impact.
• Use customer and partner data signals to continuously optimize how partnerships deliver value.
• Adhere to a clear, data-informed strategy for identifying and prioritizing strategic product partnerships that drive recurring revenue and scalable growth.
• Evaluate potential integrations and partnership models, ensuring strong alignment with product and business goals.
• Define and track key partnership KPIs, including revenue contribution, adoption metrics, and customer experience improvements.
• Continuously refine the partnership model to scale with SimpleClosure’s growth trajectory.

Product Partnerships

• Develop and execute a clear strategy for acquiring, enabling, and scaling partnerships with accounting, tax, and advisory firms
• Define partner segmentation (e.g., startup-focused firms, regional CPA firms, boutique advisory practices) and ideal partner profiles
• Design referral, revenue-share, and co-marketing models tailored to accounting partners
• Partner Development & Relationship Management
• Identify and build relationships with partners, principals, and firm leadership
• Serve as a trusted partner to accounting firms, positioning SimpleClosure as an extension of their client service offering
• Act as the primary point of contact for accounting partners, proactively addressing needs and resolving issues
• Drive qualified customer referrals through accounting firm partnerships
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure smooth handoffs, clear attribution, and strong feedback loops
• Structure, negotiate, and close partnership agreements that align incentives and drive long-term value
• Partner with Product, Legal, and Engineering teams to improve shutdown workflows, financial reporting, and compliance support
• Work with Marketing to develop partner enablement materials, co-branded content, and training resources for accountants
• Provide feedback from accounting partners to inform product, pricing, and GTM strategy
• Build onboarding, education, and enablement programs for accounting partners
• Track partnership performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI
• Iterate on the partnership model to drive scale, efficiency, and repeatability

Strategic Partnerships Lead – Accountants

Account Executive

• Assist in identifying, researching, and qualifying prospective customers navigating business closures
• Conduct outbound and inbound outreach via phone, email, and social channels
• Schedule and participate in discovery calls and product demonstrations
• Support deal progression by managing follow-ups, next steps, and customer questions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce)
• Collaborate with Marketing to improve lead quality and conversion
• Gather and share customer feedback to help refine sales messaging and product positioning

Full-stack Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across the SimpleClosure platform
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Implement clean, maintainable frontend experiences using React and TypeScript
• Build and integrate backend services, APIs, and data models to support product workflows
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
• Own features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment and iteration
• Ensure performance, reliability, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments
• Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and code quality

Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer

Data Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Own data ingestion from product databases, third-party tools, and external data sources
• Build and manage data models to support analytics, reporting, and operational workflows
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across the data stack
• Partner with Product, Operations, Growth, and Leadership to define key metrics and data requirements
• Support analytics and BI use cases by enabling clean, well-documented datasets
• Optimize data storage, performance, and cost across the data platform
• Implement best practices for data governance, access controls, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline failures and inconsistencies
