About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the company’s bankers by servicing, maintaining, and updating loan documentation and loan files
  • Manage high-volume and/or complex loans efficiently
  • Coordinate preparation, review, execution, and organization of loan documentation and renewals
  • Follow up with clients, insurance agents, title companies, and attorneys for missing documentation
  • Resolve documentation exceptions and deficiencies and manage outstanding exception items for Credit Policy compliance
  • Ensure proper bank reporting and compliance
  • Assist bankers with collecting financial data and client communications
  • Provide client-related services including wires, NSF accounts, and overdrafts
  • Interpret complex financial statements and analyses and translate details for business partners
  • Monitor past-due, paid-off loan, criticized-asset, and maturing-loan reports
  • Coordinate construction-loan disbursements with Portfolio Managers and CCFG when needed
  • Promote outstanding customer experiences through prompt follow-up and proactive communication
  • Partner with ancillary bank departments including Loan Administration, CIS, Loan Review, Special Assets, Bank Card, and Consumer Special Services
  • Provide retail support for commercial customers in certain markets, including opening and maintaining accounts
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 4+ years of commercial loan experience required
  • Thorough understanding of loan documentation, credit policy, and banking regulation
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements and their interpretation
  • Understanding of HMDA, CRA Community Development, and CRA Small Business Revenue
  • Understanding of bank retail services and processes in certain markets
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs
  • Thorough understanding of Lending Cycle, Argo, and Synergy, or similar operating systems experience
  • Ability to read, write, analyze, and comprehend business correspondence, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to manage problematic situations diplomatically
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Ability to multitask and perform tasks punctually and timely
  • No certificates, licenses, or registrations required
