About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications, APIs, and databases.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineers to build secure, reliable, and efficient solutions.
- Follow software development best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as a Back-End Developer, Software Engineer, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, C#, PHP, Go, or Ruby.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, or similar.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, security best practices, and API performance optimization.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or other DevOps tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
