Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute inventory plans that balance availability, cost, and service performance
Apply forecasting and demand planning techniques to support effective material planning
Deliver actionable analytics and insights to inform inventory decisions and continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to support inventory transition initiatives
Communicating effectively across a ride range of stakeholders
Monitor inventory performance against KPIs and support governance and optimisation activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

A strong foundation in inventory, supply chain, or logistics, supported by tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
At least five years’ experience in inventory planning and modelling within a complex, diversified organisation
Proven expertise in inventory systems and distribution logistics, ideally within a Caterpillar-aligned environment
Advanced analytical capability, experience in project and change management, and hands‑on expertise with ERP/MRP platforms
Strong communication skills.
