About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute inventory plans that balance availability, cost, and service performance
  • Apply forecasting and demand planning techniques to support effective material planning
  • Deliver actionable analytics and insights to inform inventory decisions and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to support inventory transition initiatives
  • Communicating effectively across a ride range of stakeholders
  • Monitor inventory performance against KPIs and support governance and optimisation activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A strong foundation in inventory, supply chain, or logistics, supported by tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
  • At least five years’ experience in inventory planning and modelling within a complex, diversified organisation
  • Proven expertise in inventory systems and distribution logistics, ideally within a Caterpillar-aligned environment
  • Advanced analytical capability, experience in project and change management, and hands‑on expertise with ERP/MRP platforms
  • Strong communication skills.
