About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take functional ownership of deals across the APAC region, including strategic pursuits
  • Own the functional sales workstream end-to-end for multiple opportunities
  • Partner with sales to lead enterprise deals through functional stage-gates
  • Deliver product and functional RfPs, RfIs, and presentations to prospects
  • Build reusable demo environments, standard pitches, industry materials, competitor materials, and presentation assets
  • Anchor deals in customer outcomes and demonstrate tangible value
  • Shape opportunities toward open ecosystem, front-to-back public and private assets, managed services, and AI
  • Delegate and orchestrate SMEs from operations, accounting, and technical teams
  • Frame technical answers in commercial and industry terms
  • Document risks and gaps, plan demos and PoCs, provide proposal input, and ensure clean handoffs
  • Coordinate with Product, Consulting, Services, and SME teams to align solution design with client needs
  • Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships
  • Mentor junior team members and reinforce team standards
  • Monitor market developments and connect them to platform workflows
  • Perform direct configuration work for sales demonstrations and expand the demo and presentation library
  • Travel lightly to moderately as required by sales activity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in FinTech, including implementations, transformations, presales, or relationship management with technical/commercial exposure
  • Exposure to portfolio management and risk management activities
  • Track record of shaping and winning enterprise deals in financial software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex concepts and tailor the message to the audience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly
  • Technical fluency across multi-asset platforms, including securities, derivatives, loans, public and private assets, APIs, and data workflows
  • Experience working in APAC; South East Asia and Australia are a strong plus
  • Comfort operating in a high-accountability deal team where ownership and autonomy are expected
  • Business-level proficiency in Mandarin, spoken and written
  • Additional languages such as Cantonese, Korean, or Japanese are good to have
