Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries that power legacy dashboards and recurring reports.
Work in Equals to build, maintain, and troubleshoot reporting workflows.
Navigate and document existing database schemas, identifying data quality issues or inconsistencies.
Extract, transform, and validate data from HubSpot (contacts, deals, campaigns, and custom objects) and Postgres databases to support business reporting needs.
Collaborate closely with our Principal Data Scientist to prioritize work and ensure continuity of reporting during the engagement.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, window functions, CTEs, performance tuning).
Experience working with HubSpot and postgres data — understanding of its data model, API structure, and common reporting pitfalls.
Familiarity with Equals or similar spreadsheet-meets-SQL reporting tools; ability to ramp quickly if new to the platform.
Comfort reading and interpreting unfamiliar database schemas with minimal hand-holding.
Experience supporting or maintaining legacy data systems (not just greenfield builds).
Clear communication skills — you'll need to ask good questions and document what you find.
