About the role

  • Analyze, develop, and communicate ESG and climate-related topics as well as corporate communications for clients.
  • Act as part of project teams and actively support projects in sustainable corporate development, corporate communications, and climate management.
  • Provide consulting, design, and support for clients' sustainability and climate work.
  • Assist with materiality analyses, development of sustainability and climate strategies, and handling of rating inquiries.
  • Conduct greenhouse gas accounting according to common standards, analyze emissions data, and develop climate targets and measures for emissions reduction.

Requirements

  • Completed degree, ideally with a background in business administration or natural sciences and a focus on sustainability or climate.
  • Initial (including work-study) professional experience in ESG, sustainability or communications departments, in climate accounting, or in consultancies (PR, IR, strategy or ESG).
  • Knowledge of CSRD/ESRS, VSME, GRI, ESG and common climate standards (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, SBT).
  • Strong communication skills, ability to write persuasive texts and explain complex topics clearly.
  • Excellent numerical skills, structured data analysis, and enjoyment of analytical-strategic work.
  • Confident user of MS Office programs.
  • Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams, a genuine team-player mindset, and commitment to continuous development.
  • Fluent German and English.
