Regional Sales Manager – The Family of Silver Oak Travel-Based | Full-Time Required Location: Houston, TX – States Covered TX, LA, OK
About 70% field time: partner with distributors, call on accounts, host tastings, drive results.
Execute sales strategy for Silver Oak family across territory; identify new business and nurture accounts.
Partner with distributors to hit volume, placement, and prestige goals; host events often evenings/weekends.
Administration (30%): collaborate on pricing, programming, inventory; track sales, analyze market performance; forecast sales and expenses.
Support national account objectives and sales leadership; maintain communication and manage territory budget.
Daily travel within territory; occasional evenings and weekends; lifting to 35 pounds; split time between home office and market.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field—or equivalent mix of education and experience.
3+ years of sales experience; wine industry experience strongly preferred.
Experience managing wholesaler relationships at both sales staff and management levels.
Existing contacts and strong relationships with key on- and off-premise accounts.
Proven track record of building business, increasing case volume, and achieving targets.
Skilled in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), CRM systems (DeVineWare preferred).
Highly motivated, proactive, and organized—with excellent time management skills.
Strong communicator with excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
Professional integrity, reliability, and impeccable conduct.
Positive, collaborative, and entrepreneurial mindset.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must reside within the assigned territory.
