About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct administrative support to the Associate Executive Director for Central Services, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
  • Serve as a key point of contact between the Associate Executive Director for Central Services and her direct reports, staff and external partners
  • Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Anticipate leadership needs and proactively manage priorities
  • Coordinate team meetings, including scheduling, agendas, materials, and minutes
  • Support and monitor Central Services departments in carrying out organizational leadership processes (i.e. reporting, processing strategic plans with their depts)
  • Manage office operations, systems, and administrative processes
  • Maintain confidential files and organizational records
  • Support HR-related administrative tasks such as onboarding, scheduling, and documentation
  • Assist with donor communications, acknowledgments, and database updates
  • Support fundraising events and program-related logistics
  • Collaborate with development and program staff on administrative needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience supporting senior leadership, ideally in a nonprofit setting
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
