Account Manager

• Support the HLI Team Leader in advancing the strategic growth and sustainability of the Health and Language Initiative
• Using innovation and creativity, coordinate and support health related pilot projects occurring at the global, area, and country levels
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with global health organizations, foundations, government entities, academic institutions, and corporate partners
• Identify, pursue, and help secure diverse funding opportunities that support long-term program sustainability
• Support donor engagement, grant development, partnership cultivation, and stewardship activities
• Identify opportunities to expand HLI programming and increase SIL's impact within the global health sector
• Facilitate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to advance strategic initiatives and partnerships
• Develop and maintain program resources, partnership materials, presentations, and other collateral that support communications, fundraising,, and program growth
• Track partnerships, funding, and project outcomes and provide improvement recommendations to leadership
• Contribute to the long term vision and development of the Health and Language Initiative and prepare for increasing leadership responsibilities as the initiative grows
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned

Global Health Partnerships and Programs Manager

Human Resources

• Manage the hiring process, which includes writing job descriptions, posting openings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and guiding new hires through onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities
• Act as a point of contact for staff and managers, address staff concerns, conduct basic investigations, and help resolve conflicts
• Maintains awareness of benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans, and understands payroll and compensation practices
• Supports performance evaluation processes, provides coaching to managers in regards to goal-setting, and assists with performance improvement plans
• Ensures organizational compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and helps enforce HR policies
• Proficiently navigates HR systems; pulls reports; analyzes HR data to help make informed decisions
