About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and maintain revenue recognition policies and procedures
Prepare and review monthly revenue journal entries
Ensure accurate and timely recording of variable consideration
Manage accounting for costs related to revenue-generating activities
Serve as an active contributor to the monthly and quarterly close process
Prepare and maintain bad debt reserve calculations
Reconcile intercompany accounts
Support additional general ledger responsibilities
Partner with external auditors
Collaborate with teams to resolve customer accounting questions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Deep working knowledge of ASC 606
Hands-on experience with revenue accounting
Solid understanding of ASC 340-40 contract cost accounting
Experience with bad debt reserve methodologies
Advanced Excel skills
Proficiency in a major ERP system
CPA preferred
