About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and coordinate all phases of new home construction from permitting to closing
Manage multiple homes within an assigned subdivision or specified community/town
Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and cost-control policies
Schedule jobsite subcontractors, trade contractors, suppliers, homebuyer walk-throughs, and inspections
Assume overall responsibility for construction of homes in the assigned community
Manage assistants and guide and direct trade contractors and suppliers
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, processes, guidelines, and specifications
Complete warranty requests for current homeowners in a timely manner
Communicate effectively with customers
Maintain open and effective communication with the home office
Address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other jobsite issues while on-call

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 2 years new home building experience preferred
New home construction experience required
Natural born leader of both people and process
Strong sense of urgency
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Positive attitude and desire to work in a team environment
Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of the jobsite in all types of weather, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Will require travel to multiple construction sites
Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other jobsite issues
