About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Cultivating and managing strategic relationships with high-value national clients.
  • Driving account growth through both retention and expansion initiatives.
  • Engaging with key decision-makers across all levels of customer organizations.
  • Identifying opportunities in assigned accounts and developing strategies/account plans.
  • Leading relationship and adoption activities for accounts.
  • Meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals.
  • Acting as a main point of contact with customers regarding ongoing business requirements and issues.
  • Producing and leading regular internal and external business reviews.
  • Coordinating local resources for pull-through of national accounts.
  • Closing sales and owning completion activities, including fulfillment for large expansion opportunities.
  • Maintaining up-to-date sales opportunities and customer records in CRM.
  • Participating in Training & Development opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Finance or similar field.
  • 4+ years in Sales.
  • At least 1 year supporting National level customers.
  • Travel overnight – up to 70%.
  • Knowledge of Signode’s products and applications to sell solutions that meet customer’s needs.
  • Strong mechanical and manufacturing aptitude.
  • Ability to use a CRM and read dashboards on PowerBi, with general MS Office proficiency.
  • Strong technology skills with social media knowledge.
