About the role

  • Create and analyze reports to support team and business initiatives from a variety of sources (e.g., ACE/SAP/Customs Broker Portals)
  • Generate and publish monthly reporting for management to ensure visibility of duty/tariff spend and avoidance
  • Data management through data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, process mapping, and/or problem analysis to support daily, weekly, monthly processes related to trade and customs
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of customs data to ensure timeliness of clearance, proper payment of duties and fees
  • Accuracy of data transmitted, resolution of entry problems, support of declaration/broker compliance, and opportunities for duty/tariff savings
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly duty and tariff payments, biannual post-entry refund, and annual drawback claims
  • Use programming language (SQL, Power Automate, Power Query) to develop tools and AI agents for Trade & Customs team
  • Maintain parts databases for customs brokers and create and manage Purchase Reqs/Orders for customs services

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data science, international trade, or related, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Work experience in trade compliance, customs regulations, and/or supply chain logistics
  • Proficient in MS Office and data analytics software; advanced Excel skills required and Power BI experience highly preferred
  • Acute analytical, problem-solving skills, organizational, and time management skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customs Broker License, Certified Customs Compliance Specialist, Certified Customs Export Specialist, and External Trade & Customs trainings a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
