Conduct daily operations working for the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Logistics) Equipment Directorate which reports to directly to the Department of Defense for compliance authority.
Develop and publish best practices methodology to DoD Components and Agencies that allows them to effectively manage government equipment
Evaluate property management procedures to reduce audits or property loss reporting
Use Defense Property Accountable System (DPAS) as the primary property management system
Monitors the use of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to include personal property and military equipment (weapon systems) for its intended purpose or lifecycle
Publish Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) to manage and maintain logistics operational processes
Coordinate with various government agencies to resolve shortcoming, obtain feedback, or recommendation for improvement on recurring matters.
Review and provide input to monthly Newsletter articles
Conduct daily Teams meeting to discuss action items, developments that effect accountability or readiness activity of any agency or activity
Requirements
Secret Clearance
DoD Property Lifecycle Management – 2 years hands-on
APSR (not necessarily DPAS) experience (hands on)
Ability to work independently
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills – verbal and written
Agency Level Policy – writing, interpretation, and execution; DoDi 5000.64.
Experience briefing – O6/GS-15 and above
Creation of documents, briefings, and Power Point presentations
Strong excel and database skills
Office 365 (especially TEAMS)
