About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyse functional requirements and turn them into real software
Assist in designing and improving software architecture
Build and maintain a catalogue of reusable solution patterns
Build and maintain a library of reusable software components
Improve standards and guidelines for using patterns and components
Participate in daily stand-ups and discuss safety features with the product owner
Own the whole lifecycle of applications, including deployments and DevOps
Develop Signicat SaaS applications that enable online authentication for millions of users
Contribute to secure programming and mission-critical authentication solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience using Kotlin and/or Java 8+ to develop web applications
Willingness to learn and work in Kotlin
Enjoy explaining things, discussions, and knowledge sharing
Experience with CI/CD, version control, and unit testing
Knowledge or experience with one or more of: Spring Boot, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, GitLab, PostgreSQL, OIDC, SAML, QA, AWS/GCP, Angular, Linux, SCRUM/Kanban
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Willingness to accept full responsibility for work and end-to-end application ownership
Willingness to work with Scrum/Kanban methodologies
