About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the architecture, design, and technical oversight of enterprise integration solutions.
  • Design scalable, secure, and resilient integration patterns, APIs, and messaging workflows.
  • Provide architectural oversight and implementation guidance.
  • Partner with data and application architects for alignment.
  • Provide backup support for AWS deployment activities.
  • Provide Level 3 production support for integration incidents.
  • Monitor and optimize integration solutions for performance and reliability.
  • Analyze AWS usage and recommend improvements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of software engineering, integration engineering, or related IT experience.
  • 5+ years of experience architecting enterprise integration solutions on AWS.
  • Strong experience with AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, EventBridge, CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and Python.
  • Experience using AWS CDK and GitHub Actions for deployments.
  • Strong knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization.
  • Deep knowledge of integration patterns: synchronous APIs, asynchronous messaging, publish-subscribe, event-driven architectures.
  • Strong communication skills.
