Assist with the preparation of US, International, State and Local income tax filings including estimates, returns, and quarterly projections
Assist with the timely, accurate, and complete compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, judicial decisions, and administrative pronouncements.
Assists with the preparation, review, and documentation of the quarterly and annual income tax provision, including the identification and calculation of permanent book/tax differences, discrete items, deferred income taxes, uncertain tax positions, and valuation allowances
Support in connection with special projects as needed by the tax department.
Respond to notices and assists with Federal, State, and Foreign tax audits or examinations, including anticipating auditor’s requests, preparation of documents and support for returns, and researching audit issues.
Performs additional duties and projects as assigned. Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
Requirements
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and proficiency in navigating Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills; flexible and adaptable team player capable of multi-tasking; and delivers high quality work
