About the role
- Partner with business leaders to shape and execute product strategy aligned to enterprise objectives.
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap.
- Ensure product direction balances enterprise priorities, operational risk, and customer impact.
- Incorporate market trends, competitive insights, and industry best practices into product decisions.
- Develop deep understanding of customers, including flight crews, passengers, operators, and internal teams.
- Lead structured discovery to identify high-value problems and opportunities.
- Validate solutions through research, experimentation, and measurable outcomes.
- Ensure solutions reflect real-world operational complexity across a global network.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog based on enterprise value and strategic alignment.
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Make informed tradeoff decisions balancing scope, risk, dependencies, and timeline.
- Partner closely with engineering and design teams to drive efficient, high-quality delivery.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
- Partner with stakeholders to plan and execute successful product launches.
- Ensure operational readiness, communications, and training support enterprise adoption.
- Define success metrics and track performance post-launch.
- Drive continuous improvement based on data, feedback, and evolving business needs.
- Manage products through full lifecycle, including enhancement, optimization, and retirement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate priorities, rationale, and tradeoffs.
- Balance competing needs while maintaining focus on enterprise value.
- Ensure product decisions support safety, compliance, and governance standards where applicable.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management/Ownership within a complex enterprise, operational, or distributed environment.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and business functions.
- Experience managing products in Agile environments with structured discovery practices.
- Strong strategic thinking and data-informed decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, multi-location organization.
