About the role
- Perform design of LV, HV, EHV electrical power systems
- Lead a team of engineers and drafters for substation engineering design projects
- Provide engineering support to project management, procurement and construction on all stages of projects
- Develop and maintain a bill of material, cable and conduit schedule, and conduct calculations such as overvoltage protection and coordination
- Assure that all engineering documents and records are maintained properly
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Power Engineering
- 5+ Years’ Experience in Design of Transmission Level Substations (13.8kV – 500 kV)
- Minimum of 3 years of application experience with SEL, GE, etc. relays.
- Knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, IEEE and other applicable codes and standards
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD (2015 or later) at intermediate level
