About the role
- Owns the mobile product vision, roadmap, and technical direction across iOS and Android.
- Defines mobile capabilities that support event engagement, exhibitor value, and iGaming‑specific user journeys.
- Ensures mobile features align with business goals, technical constraints, and long‑term platform evolution.
- Translates business needs into detailed technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and architectural considerations.
- Prioritises the mobile backlog based on impact, feasibility, and strategic value.
- Works closely with mobile engineers to ensure clarity, feasibility, and technical excellence.
- Supports API design, data flows, and integration requirements for mobile features.
- Leads the introduction of AI tooling into mobile workflows, including: AI‑assisted prototyping and UX testing automated QA and performance diagnostics intelligent analytics and reporting.
- Drives the development of AI‑powered mobile features such as: personalized event recommendations AI‑driven matchmaking between attendees and exhibitors automated content summaries, translations, and highlights conversational interfaces and chat‑based assistance.
- Ensures AI features follow responsible‑AI principles and comply with data‑privacy regulations.
- Develops mobile features tailored to live events and iGaming audiences, including: real‑time schedules, alerts, and session interactions interactive maps and navigation exhibitor dashboards and engagement tools live content feeds and gamified experiences.
- Ensures mobile apps remain stable, performant, and responsive during high‑traffic event periods.
- Collaborates with engineering, UX/UI, data, and event operations teams to deliver high‑quality mobile releases.
- Leads sprint planning, backlog refinement, and cross‑team coordination.
- Ensures mobile features are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
- Supports go‑to‑market planning with marketing and commercial teams.
- Ensures mobile features follow secure‑by‑design principles.
- Works with security and data teams to ensure compliance with privacy, regulatory, and responsible‑gaming requirements.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for mobile product initiatives.
- Communicates product strategy, progress, risks, and trade‑offs to leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including exhibitors and partners.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of mobile development, mobile architectures, and cross‑platform frameworks
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical requirements
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and mobile‑friendly AI integrations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, event‑driven environments
- Understanding of iGaming audiences and digital engagement patterns is a plus
- Educated to degree level in a numerate or technical discipline, Masters preferred.
- 5-7+ years of technical experience in mobile product ownership, mobile engineering, software development, or related fields
- 2-3+ years of management or leadership experience, such as leading product teams or major mobile initiatives
- Proven track record of delivering mobile products from concept to launch
- Experience introducing AI tooling or delivering AI‑enabled mobile features
- Background working with event platforms, mobile apps, or iGaming systems
- Experience collaborating with distributed or hybrid teams
