About the role
- Analyses attendee, exhibitor, sponsor, and event performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Produces dashboards, reports, and visualisations that support strategic and operational decision‑making.
- Conducts deep‑dive analyses to support product development, marketing optimisation, and event design.
- Provides insights that improve customer experience, commercial performance, and operational processes.
- Supports the introduction and adoption of AI‑powered analytics tools, including: automated reporting and insight generation, AI‑assisted forecasting and trend detection, intelligent data‑quality monitoring.
- Contributes to AI‑enabled products and services such as: personalised event recommendations, predictive attendee behaviour insights, automated exhibitor and sponsor performance summaries.
- Ensures AI‑driven insights are accurate, ethical, and aligned with business goals.
- Cleans, transforms, and validates data from multiple sources, including event platforms, CRM systems, mobile apps, and iGaming‑related tools.
- Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all reporting environments.
- Collaborates with data engineers to improve data pipelines, models, and data availability.
- Analyses event engagement metrics such as session attendance, booth interactions, content consumption, and digital behaviour.
- Supports iGaming‑specific analytics, including player engagement patterns, partner performance, and regulatory reporting needs.
- Provides insights that help optimise event programming, exhibitor value, and attendee experience.
- Works closely with product, marketing, sales, and event operations teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Presents findings in clear, compelling formats tailored to different audiences.
- Supports a culture of data literacy and evidence‑based decision‑making across the organisation.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and AI‑assisted analytics tools
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and persuasively
- Familiarity with event‑driven data and iGaming analytics is a plus
- High attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Educated to degree level in a numerate or technical discipline, Masters preferred.
- 3–5+ years of technical experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields
- 1+ years of management or mentorship experience, such as leading analytical projects or guiding junior analysts
- Experience working with event data, digital engagement metrics, or iGaming data sets
- Proven track record of delivering insights that influence product, marketing, or operational decisions
- Experience with AI‑powered analytics tools or contributing to AI‑enabled product development
- Background working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments
