About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage end-to-end Clinical Supply Chain activities, including planning, packaging and labeling, distribution, returns, and destruction, for assigned clinical programs
- Develop and manage supply forecasts, supply plans, and timelines with Clinical and CMC
- Manage Investigational Product inventory levels at depots and clinical sites
- Coordinate inventory movement from manufacturers to depots or clinical sites
- Design and/or review label text to meet product requirements and regulatory compliance
- Manage Investigational Product in accordance with study timing, clinical protocols, cGMP, GCP, ICH, FDA, and applicable regulations
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations, CMC, Regulatory Affairs, QA, PDM, external partners, and CMOs
- Manage clinical supply and logistics and resolve shipment delays, temperature excursions, and import/export issues
- Manage clinical trial contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and clinical supply vendor budgets
- Participate in Clinical Supply Chain budget and forecast planning
- Represent Clinical Supply Chain at clinical trial meetings
- Communicate plans and timelines to internal and external customers and partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA degree in life sciences or business, or equivalent required
- Master’s degree in life sciences or business preferred
- Minimum 5–7 years of life sciences industry-related experience, including project management, pharmaceutical development, clinical supply management, and/or clinical trials coordination
- At least 3+ years in Clinical Supplies Management
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project software
- APICS certification (CPIM, CLTD, CSCP) preferred
- Solid understanding of clinical study design, including randomized, blinded, and open-label studies, and study execution
- Knowledge of cGMP, GCP, ICH, FDA, and applicable international, federal, and local regulations
