About the role
- Communicate with Account Managers, Distributors, Box Stores, Dealers, and internal departments regarding MAP issues and resolutions
- Develop and maintain working relationships with Marketing, Finance, Commercial Sales, Shipping, and Receiving team members
- Process and monitor orders throughout the process from order entry to successful delivery
- Monitor MAP software system on a daily basis to identify potential MAP and MTP offenders
- Conduct ongoing interaction with IT Department in the development and expansion of MAP monitoring software
- Perform daily verification of potential MAP violations
- Prepare electronic and verbal communications to potential MAP offenders and assigned field sales team
- Complete weekly, monthly, and YTD reporting on frequent MAP offenders and disposition of account(s)
- Participate in and sustain 5S Standards
Requirements
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years’ of previous experience with telesales, business development, or program management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience in a variety of monitoring tools
- Ability to prepare and distribute reports independently, and according to the appropriate timeframe
- Strong collaborator and trusted resource for the field who consistently applies a solution-focused mindset
- Detailed oriented with creative problem-solving skills and the ability to get things done
- Ability to troubleshoot functional firearms issues
- Demonstrate strong conflict-resolution skills and the ability to clearly articulate pricing policies, maintain positive retailer relationships, and provide accurate, detailed documentation while responding promptly and professionally to inquiries
- Ability to understand and disseminate technical product information
- Familiarity with Oracle a plus
