About the role
- Manage the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects from initial design through occupancy
- Serve as primary point of contact for facilities support and work with local office managers
- Execute multiple projects simultaneously, including complex retrofits and large-scale buildouts
- Lead project management initiatives and specialty programs (e.g., EBCs)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, IT, Finance, Recruiting, contractors, and architects
- Support capital and facilities budget planning, variance tracking, and financial reporting
- Conduct detailed project estimating, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Support office management to maintain uniform operations across offices
- Lead vendor management and contract administration
- Evaluate and improve facilities operations processes and engage external vendors to deliver high-quality work
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience delivering commercial and workplace interiors, including tenant improvement (TI) projects
- Background in interior design or construction project management and direct management of commercial TI projects
- Experience leading or supporting multiple simultaneous projects and delivering on time and within budget
- Expertise in construction budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Relationship-building skills with external vendors
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with colleagues and partners at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced culture
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco 4–5 days per week and travel occasionally to project sites
- Must answer legal authorization and visa sponsorship questions during application (ability to work in the United States may be required)
