About the role

  • Oversee Real Estate & Facilities construction projects through the entire lifecycle, from minor upgrades to full-scale commercial construction
  • Gather requirements and coordinate the Request for Proposal (RFP) process
  • Actively manage on-site project execution and provide hands-on oversight to resolve real-time issues
  • Maintain meticulous project documentation, notes, progress logs, and requirement tracking
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution
  • Develop, monitor, and update project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations
  • Align projects with operational goals alongside Industrial Engineering teams
  • Conduct frequent site visits to monitor progress, identify risks, and address scope changes
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality delivery
  • Provide consistent status reporting and detailed reports on project status, milestones, and challenges
  • Estimated project duration: 1 year

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project management, or a related field
  • Ability to monitor and mitigate project risks, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholders, vendors, and contractors
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in project management and financial software
  • Self-starter with a strong focus on process improvement
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, including design, permitting, procurement, and execution (preferred)
  • Certified as a Project Management Professional (preferred)
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military (preferred)
  • Must be U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State/Commerce authorizations
