Key responsibilities & impact

Leverage extensive programming and machine-learning expertise to design, architect, and optimize AI software and hardware that utilizes visual data
Lead the integration and deployment of computer vision solutions into satellite systems
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of computer vision systems
Develop and optimize sophisticated AI software and hardware for satellite applications
Maintain, enhance, and refactor existing computer vision systems and algorithms
Document code, processes, and methodologies comprehensively for future reference and team collaboration
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning technologies
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or master's +3 yrs experience)
Typically, 5+ years of related experience
Expertise in one to multiple programming languages and advanced understanding of software development principles
Experience with different software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum/Kanban
Ability to design and architect complex software systems
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to mentor and guide other engineers
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.
