Key responsibilities & impact

responsible for generating ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts
integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements
supports and contributes to the enterprise business or engineering application strategy
oversees and contributes to the configuration, upgrade, and long-term operation of software
directs the operation and maintenance of software architecture and environments to support the IT needs of the business
continuously assesses and improves processes to enhance service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
collaborates with external vendors and service providers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +6 yrs experience)
Typically 8+ years of related experience
Certification: varies by business system
Comprehensive understanding of IT systems, software configuration, CI/CD, engineering, and/or business processes
Proficiency in software environments and upgrades
Expert in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder with deep understanding of the use and development of Semantic Models and refresh strategies
Advanced experience with SQL and database management (preferred)
Extensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools (preferred)
Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data sets (preferred)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis and automation (preferred)
Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) (preferred)
Proven track record of leading data projects and driving business impact through data insights (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team (preferred)
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality (preferred)
Experience in mentoring and coaching junior team members (preferred).
