About the role
- Translate functional plans into operational objectives and drive the success of larger projects
- Oversee multiple disciplines or departments to ensure operational processes align with strategic objectives
- Work closely with stakeholders and program management to optimize development processes
- Lead the design and implementation of mission-focused ground software
- Direct comprehensive tests across the Software Development Lifecycle
- Spearhead recruitment efforts to build a strong ground software team
Requirements
- Requires bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
- Several years of relevant work experience with a significant portion in a managerial or leadership role
- Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and complex projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required
