About the role
- Participate in the planning, conducting, and documenting of Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for aerospace systems and components, ensuring compliance with system requirements
- Apply a strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices to support testing activities and solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Work effectively in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Contribute to requirements management, system design, and systems integration efforts, ensuring effective system performance and reliability
- Read and interpret schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and apply logical troubleshooting techniques to resolve testing issues
- Develop and execute complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports, demonstrating compliance with system requirements
- Utilize various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies to support validation efforts and ensure the quality of aerospace systems and components
- Participate in the generation and disposition of product non-conformances, adhering to Product and Quality Assurance principles
- Prepare and document technical data, reports, and analyses to support engineering initiatives and project decision-making
Requirements
- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
- Typically 2+ years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Working knowledge of Product and Quality Assurance principles and experience with generation and disposition of product non-conformances
- Ability to read/interpret schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical troubleshooting techniques
- Basic experience with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies
- Exposure to and execution of complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports in order to demonstrate compliance with system requirements
