About the role

  • Participate in the planning, conducting, and documenting of Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for aerospace systems and components, ensuring compliance with system requirements
  • Apply a strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices to support testing activities and solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Work effectively in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
  • Contribute to requirements management, system design, and systems integration efforts, ensuring effective system performance and reliability
  • Read and interpret schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and apply logical troubleshooting techniques to resolve testing issues
  • Develop and execute complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports, demonstrating compliance with system requirements
  • Utilize various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies to support validation efforts and ensure the quality of aerospace systems and components
  • Participate in the generation and disposition of product non-conformances, adhering to Product and Quality Assurance principles
  • Prepare and document technical data, reports, and analyses to support engineering initiatives and project decision-making

Requirements

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
  • Typically 2+ years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Working knowledge of Product and Quality Assurance principles and experience with generation and disposition of product non-conformances
  • Ability to read/interpret schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical troubleshooting techniques
  • Basic experience with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies
  • Exposure to and execution of complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports in order to demonstrate compliance with system requirements
