Requirements
- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +10 yrs experience)
- Typically 12+ years of related experience
- Mastery in a particular area (e.g., power systems, control systems, EWIS, CD&H, etc)
- Expert knowledge of relevant industry standards
- Expert knowledge of electrical and avionic systems architectures and their design
- Expert in troubleshooting and solving complex problems
- Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced engineers
- Ability to take task-ownership and lead teams
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on projects involving both small and large engineering teams
- Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation
- Knowledge of systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Experience performing trade studies to support subsystem architecture decisions
- An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required
