Requirements

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +10 yrs experience)
  • Typically 12+ years of related experience
  • Mastery in a particular area (e.g., power systems, control systems, EWIS, CD&H, etc)
  • Expert knowledge of relevant industry standards
  • Expert knowledge of electrical and avionic systems architectures and their design
  • Expert in troubleshooting and solving complex problems
  • Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced engineers
  • Ability to take task-ownership and lead teams
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on projects involving both small and large engineering teams
  • Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation
  • Knowledge of systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
  • Experience performing trade studies to support subsystem architecture decisions
  • An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required
