About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the integration and management of multiple large-scale projects or one highly complex development
- Manage total Program Integration focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning
- Track and report on project status, technical execution, and overall program performance
- Supervise program and project staff to ensure successful project outcomes
- Identify, track, and resolve program issues and problems
- Manage program risks by identifying, mitigating, tracking, and managing them
- Develop proposals, conduct research and fact-finding, coordinate audits, and negotiate with project/program stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry
- 5+ years leading large scale projects, with scope spanning multiple years, while leading teams made up of 10+ cross functional members
- Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications
- Experience with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes
- Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes
- Experience in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and literacy in the program management disciplines
- Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
