About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the integration and management of multiple large-scale projects or one highly complex development
Manage total Program Integration focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning
Track and report on project status, technical execution, and overall program performance
Supervise program and project staff to ensure successful project outcomes
Identify, track, and resolve program issues and problems
Manage program risks by identifying, mitigating, tracking, and managing them
Develop proposals, conduct research and fact-finding, coordinate audits, and negotiate with project/program stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field
10+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry
5+ years leading large scale projects, with scope spanning multiple years, while leading teams made up of 10+ cross functional members
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications
Experience with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes
Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes
Experience in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and literacy in the program management disciplines
Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
