About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Break projects into actionable tasks and set timeframes
  • Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams
  • Assist with schedule management and ensure client needs are met as projects evolve
  • Help prepare budgets and analyze risks and opportunities
  • Monitor project progress and address issues through proper communication and escalation
  • Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
  • Work with the Program Manager to remove roadblocks
  • Use tools to monitor and control performance, plans, and expenditures
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and status reports
  • Liaise with stakeholders in Planning, Operations, SCPM, Planning, and Procurement to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams
  • Assess and monitor turn around time for procurements to ensure accurate backdates are fed into the schedule for parts demand deliverables / BOMs
  • Monitor parts demand / BOM release and procurement completion progress and address issues or bottlenecks through proper communication and escalation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience in a related field
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
  • Expert understanding of project management principles and methodologies
  • Fundamental MS Office Skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail
  • Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills
  • Functional understanding of project management principles and methodologies
  • Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills, and ability to parse large data sets into critical items that need tactical intervention
  • Strong communication skills; ability to rally cross-functional teams in issue resolution discussions and use curious factfinding to discern appropriate and necessary items from the noise
