About the role
- Leading cross functional teams through complex negotiations
- Analyzing, negotiating and redlining indirect agreements
- Driving value-add outcomes for the business in all purchases
- Placing POs and complex subcontract orders
- Working with various categories of spend as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 10 or more years of relevant experience with sourcing, procurement and contract negotiations
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- 2 years IT procurement background
- Experience in CostPoint or other ERPs
- CPIM, CPM or other professional certifications
- 2 years experience in the Aerospace or Defense Industry
- Experience with Source-to-Pay tools (Ivalua, Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
- Indirect/Direct contracting experience Software/IT contracting and purchasing experience
- Finance - Pricing Analysis Exercises
- Familiarity with SAAS/ PAAS/ Terms & Conditions Negotiation
