Configuration Analyst II

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and control the configuration of complex engineering and manufacturing products through a PLM system
- Ensure accurate and timely input and maintenance of Product Data, including Parts and Bills of Materials (BoMs)
- Perform detailed audits and verification of product configurations to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and industry regulations
- Coordinate the preparation and documentation required for product structure and configuration management
- Support the configuration change management process, including evaluating, implementing, and tracking the life cycle of changes
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure effective configuration control and resolve complex configuration issues
- Maintain and manage detailed records and documentation related to configuration management activities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance configuration management practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in configuration management or a related field within the aerospace and defense industry
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
- Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and configuration management principles
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Basic understanding of Documentation Control Database systems
