About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the analysis and interpretation of Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quote (RFQ), and Statements of Work (SOW) documents to ensure compliance
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of proposal schedules, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
  • Develop and review complex Cost Volumes in accordance with RFP and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements
  • Validate and approve internal pricing inputs and ensure alignment with approved categories and accounts
  • Prepare, present, and defend pricing strategies and cost proposals to senior management
  • Collaborate with finance, contracts, engineering, and other teams to gather comprehensive proposal information
  • Conduct advanced analysis of historical pricing data, market trends, and competitor pricing
  • Lead internal and external pricing audits, providing detailed documentation and responses
  • Mentor and train junior and mid-level pricing analysts
  • Develop and implement process improvements for the pricing function.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in pricing analysis or a related role
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications
  • In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
  • Expert knowledge of government contracting regulations and compliance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Experience interpreting considerable data of a technical/programmatic nature
  • Thorough understanding of research and analysis methods
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others.
