About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the analysis and interpretation of Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quote (RFQ), and Statements of Work (SOW) documents to ensure compliance
- Oversee the development and maintenance of proposal schedules, ensuring accurate and timely submissions
- Develop and review complex Cost Volumes in accordance with RFP and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements
- Validate and approve internal pricing inputs and ensure alignment with approved categories and accounts
- Prepare, present, and defend pricing strategies and cost proposals to senior management
- Collaborate with finance, contracts, engineering, and other teams to gather comprehensive proposal information
- Conduct advanced analysis of historical pricing data, market trends, and competitor pricing
- Lead internal and external pricing audits, providing detailed documentation and responses
- Mentor and train junior and mid-level pricing analysts
- Develop and implement process improvements for the pricing function.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in pricing analysis or a related role
- Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications
- In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
- Expert knowledge of government contracting regulations and compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Experience interpreting considerable data of a technical/programmatic nature
- Thorough understanding of research and analysis methods
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others.
