About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise a team of engineers and coordinate their activities to meet project goals and timelines.
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
- Oversee the design, documentation, and approval processes for engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in management meetings, representing the engineering department.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members.
- Coordinate training programs to develop the technical skills of the engineering team.
- Present project updates and technical data to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field)
- 6+ years of engineering
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools, analysis and simulation
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
