Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
0-2+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field
Basic understanding of Systems modeling and simulation tools
Basic Understanding of multiple Engineering principles and practices
Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Conceptual knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Internship or cooperative education experience in systems engineering preferred
Basic knowledge of industry standards and best practices
Understanding of requirements management and system modelling tools, such as Jama, Cameo, MATLAB
Knowledge of industry-standard system engineering design principles, to include, classical and MBSE
Experienced or certified in International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) standards [Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP)]
Familiarity with baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternatives
Exposure to establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
