About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with the business to understand reporting and data use cases, expectations and timelines
Translate business and functional requirements to create user stories
Present user stories to development team during refinement
Gather understanding and requirements by utilizing a user centric approach by conducting interviews and workshops with business stakeholders and users
Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the development lifecycle
Facilitate user acceptance testing including the creation of user acceptance test cases and conducting sessions with business users
Assist in designing data warehouse schemas and tables
Document/communicate Root Cause Analysis on system issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
2+ years of experience in business analyst systems, or a related field
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications
in the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
Strong experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools
Aptitude to learn new technologies quickly such as Power BI and SQL
Excellent project management skills
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to analyze business systems and/or business processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and address process improvements
