About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as an Open Plan SME (Subject Matter Expert)
Drive earned value–compliant schedules across the organization
Develop, maintain, and enforce SNC scheduling processes, procedures, and best practices
Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful Open Plan integration with enterprise systems, including PM Compass, Cobra, and Empower
Deliver targeted Open Plan training, role‑specific onboarding, and development of QRGs and learning content to support user adoption
Perform schedule quality assessments such as DCMA 14‑Point Analysis and DECM
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across scheduling discipline
Actively participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes, providing expertise on scheduling and project management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree targeting Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
8+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, or a related field
Proficient in Deltek Open Plan
Proficient in Microsoft Project Professional
Ability to proactively drive conversations and ask detailed questions
Comfortable collaborating with multi-faceted teams to drive issues to closure within your domain
Must have excellent follow-up/follow-through skills
