About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the consolidated budget for assigned IT PMO programs, ensuring compliance with PMO standards and governance expectations
- Develop, maintain, and refine cost forecasts (labor, materials, services, tools, infrastructure, risk reserves) for all projects/programs under IT PMO
- Track monthly actuals vs. forecasts; identify and communicate variances; partner with Finance to resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with IT resource managers to ensure forecasts align with staffing assignments and approved resource requests
- Support the structured approach to IT resource forecasting, supply‑and‑demand modeling, and capacity analysis
- Maintain accurate resource allocations for assigned projects within Tempus (or successor tooling)
- Identify persistent variance patterns (over‑ or under‑allocations) and proactively report them to PMs
- Support PMO leadership in portfolio‑level resource roll‑ups, supply/demand assessments, and scenario‑planning requirements
- Maintain documentation repositories in compliance with audit requirements
- Provide regular status reporting, including financial health, resource allocation status, accomplishments, risks, and upcoming activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in project coordination, financial analysis, resource planning, accounting / budgeting or related experience
- Foundational understanding of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, hybrid)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, project/portfolio management tools (e.g., Tempus), and collaboration platforms
- Demonstrated experience in managing a project
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
