Field Service Technician III – Deployable
Sierra Nevada CorporationField Service Technician III providing maintenance and technical support for aerospace systems. Installing, operating, and updating equipment at field locations while building customer relationships.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations
- responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying products
- updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment
- build and maintain effective relationships with customers and provide onsite training
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
- Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
- Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques
- Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
- Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US
- Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules
- Ability to obtain a current/valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
- A United States Government Security Clearance is required for employment
