About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the development and implementation of technology roadmaps.
Collaborate with leaders and peers to develop business strategies.
Engage with customers and business partners to align roadmaps and foster relationships.
Lead and manage a team of technology professionals to achieve product development goals.
Oversee the optimization, implementation, and execution of technology roadmaps for product development.
Provide technical support to business development teams.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the technology team.
Monitor and report on the performance of technology initiatives and projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study.
13+ years of experience in technology management or a related field within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 17 years of related experience is required.
Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following: strategic planning, business development, capture management, science and engineering programs, acquisition processes, technical roadmaps, exportable technologies.
Working knowledge of various technical matters in support of the exportability, technical determination, and release of products and services.
Proficiency in emerging technologies and trends including big data, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML).
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor conversations to different audiences.
