About the role

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the development and implementation of technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with leaders and peers to develop business strategies.
  • Engage with customers and business partners to align roadmaps and foster relationships.
  • Lead and manage a team of technology professionals to achieve product development goals.
  • Oversee the optimization, implementation, and execution of technology roadmaps for product development.
  • Provide technical support to business development teams.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the technology team.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of technology initiatives and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study.
  • 13+ years of experience in technology management or a related field within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
  • In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 17 years of related experience is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following: strategic planning, business development, capture management, science and engineering programs, acquisition processes, technical roadmaps, exportable technologies.
  • Working knowledge of various technical matters in support of the exportability, technical determination, and release of products and services.
  • Proficiency in emerging technologies and trends including big data, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML).
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor conversations to different audiences.
