About the role
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and constraints.
- Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and propose scalable solutions.
- Design and implement robust, high-quality architectural solutions that meet business requirements and align with the company’s technical strategy.
- Ensure solutions are consistent with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
- Lead the development of architectural frameworks, patterns, and standards to promote consistency across the organization.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct technical evaluations and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs and solutions.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable by conducting regular reviews and assessments.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, facilitating clear communication and understanding.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and incorporate relevant advancements into the organization’s architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
- 2+ Years experience in Solution Architecture or related field
- Proficiency in solution architecture principles and frameworks, and system integration and software development methodologies
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services
- Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance considerations in solution design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus among stakeholders
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI eligibility is required
