About the role

  • Review, monitor, and control project data in support of internal and external project reporting.
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with cost proposals.
  • Conduct pricing documentation 'what-if' cost analysis, program cost forecasts, and cost variance analysis.
  • Maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
  • Provide pricing documentation to be utilized in proposal development.
  • Assist in development of payment plans.
  • Review Cobra budget data, ensuring budgets tie to program baseline.
  • Work with PMs and APMs to complete program statusing and ETC forecasting.
  • Develop management by exception reporting and analysis for senior management review.
  • Generate contractually required cost performance reports.
  • Provide notification to the Contracts department on limitation of cost or funds as required by the contract.
  • Provide Earned Value Management guidance, support, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, project control, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
  • In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Ability to effectively and clearly communicate program and financial related information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables
  • Ability to be resourceful and apply appropriate problem solving skills
  • Forecast Analysis and Budget Management Experience
