About the role
- Complex reporting (Custom reports, calculated fields, Workday object model, BIRT)
- Web Services and APIs: Understanding RESTful APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL is essential.
- Security and Authentication: Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and other authentication mechanisms ensures secure data exchange between systems.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation for integration processes, configurations, and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in integration technologies and AI/LLM integration
- Proactive monitoring and operational best practices (integration and performance monitoring, break fix, and troubleshooting)
- Design and develop integrations between internal and third-party systems (SaaS)
- Support, troubleshoot and maintain applications and integrations
- Contribute to the design and evolution of system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business needs
- Effectively communicate, partner with, and execute cross-functional projects
- Develop a deep understanding of the business area and systems to guide you in designing effective solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration methodologies and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in related field
- Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
- In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of related experience is required.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Proficiency in multiple integration areas: Workday Studio, Orchestration, Connectors, EIBs/iLoad solutions and Payroll Integrations (PECI)
- Knowledge of XSLT /XML
- Experience building Workday Extend Applications
- Prior experience with requirements gathering, integration design, testing and deployment
- Understanding of global HR landscape as well as HR functions
- Experience with full system integration testing and HR systems release cycles
