Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations
Installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment
Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and provide them with onsite training
Working overseas on a 90 day rotation basis
Provide end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompassing design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques and repair radar and communication systems in various environments, including both fixed locations and deployed environments
Background in networking, radar, communications
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, the ability to read complex drawings, and proficiency with precision tools
Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
Provide technical support for computer systems and networks
Install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair various communication systems, including networks, cable distribution, COMSEC, and cryptographic devices
Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations
Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location
Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required 60 hour work week
