About the role

  • Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations
  • Installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and provide them with onsite training
  • Working overseas on a 90 day rotation basis
  • Provide end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompassing design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
  • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
  • Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques and repair radar and communication systems in various environments, including both fixed locations and deployed environments
  • Background in networking, radar, communications
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, the ability to read complex drawings, and proficiency with precision tools
  • Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
  • Provide technical support for computer systems and networks
  • Install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair various communication systems, including networks, cable distribution, COMSEC, and cryptographic devices
  • Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
  • An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
  • Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
  • Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
  • Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations
  • Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location
  • Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required 60 hour work week
